Our Role
Seedling Projects has brought together a nationally renowned group of food producers, food writers, grocers, farmers and chefs to create the first annual Good Food Awards. Culminating on January 14, 2011 in San Francisco, the awards recognize the producers and food communities that create excellent beer, charcuterie, cheese, chocolate, cheese, pickles and preserves all around the country. The awards take a comprehensive view, honoring people who make food that is delicious, authentic and responsibly produced.

Project Details
On January 15, the day after winners were announced at an Awards Ceremony with Alice Waters, the San Francisco Ferry Building hosted a vibrant Good Food Awards Marketplace where the public had a chance to taste and buy the 80 award winning products from around the country. It kicked off Good Food Month, January 16 - February 20, with hundreds of special hands on demonstrations, tastings, public art exhibitions, and panels where the public had a chance to meet the people and learn the stories behind the Good Food.
